Public Welcome Free Event Program/Speaker Presentation

Free, open to the public, and geared to "do it yourself" gardeners.

In this interactive online presentation, Wild Ones Greater Richmond Virginia Chapter Director Janit Llewellyn and Chapter President Sharon Lamberton will walk through key elements of the sample native plant design for Richmond created for Wild Ones by Pete Corbino of District Native Plants. Janit and Sharon will discuss available tools that can help you assess your planting site, find the "sweet spots" between the sample design and your planting goals, and use the sample design as a launching point to create a personalized adaptation.

Wild Ones sample garden designs--including the design for Richmond--are available for download from Wild Ones at https://nativegardendesigns.wildones.org/.

Links to additional downloadable resources will be provided in the meeting chat. The presentation will be recorded and posted later to the chapter's YouTube channel.
