Our chapter is supporting Go Native Brandermill by co-hosting the first Native Plant Share within the community!  The plant share will take place in the parking lot of The Brandermill Church, but it also is open to members of the public beyond the immediate community. 

Timing: 

Setup, 1-2 p.m.--We will accept native plants and native seeds from members of the community and general public. Volunteers will help participants find where to place them for the share, and can help with labeling plants if need be.  Participants in the share also are welcome  to “preview” the available plants and to visit the seed share and information tables before the share starts at 2:00 p.m.Plant share, 2:00 p.m.!--At 2:00 we'll have a quick countdown to “Go”--at which time the plant share is “on.” Participants are invited to  take up to 5 plants during the first five minutes of the share.  After 5 minutes, participants can return to take as many of the  remaining plants as they wish.

Donations of garden soil or seed starting soil (in bags) and of foot for the church's food pantry also are welcome. We'll have areas set out where you can leave donations.
