Wild Ones Greater Richmond will hold its first election later this year!
If you wish to share your interest in native plants and want to influence how this chapter works to support and promote their use, please consider joining our Board of Directors. It’s an exciting time to join the board. As a still-young chapter, we have room and flexibility to grow. You can be a part of shaping that growth by serving as an officer, director, or co-director.
At the election, the five major officers (President, Vice-President, Treasurer, Secretary, and Membership Chair) are voted in for one-year terms. Some positions can be held by two people (as co-directors), which can be a way for new members to join the leadership team and gain experience on the board.
If you would like to run for an office or join the board in another capacity, or if you would like to nominate a member for an office or board position, please let us know by responding to [email protected] by Monday, July 1, 2024.
